As a Business Development Representative, you will create a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and meaningful conversations with potential customers to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Source 65–75% of your pipeline via outbound prospecting
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
- Book 8–12 qualified meetings per month
- Maintain CRM data accuracy above 90%
- Convert 20–30% of inbound leads into sales conversations
- Make 50–70 outbound calls and send 25–40 tailored emails daily
- Execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns
- Engage decision-makers with insight and confidence
- Partner with Marketing to drive event attendance and net-new opportunities
- Share feedback with leadership to improve process and training
Skills
- Experience in a sales or BDR/SDR role with track record of hitting goals
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRMs
- Strong communication skills—especially by phone
- Objection-handling savvy and relationship-building instincts
- Analytical mindset and commitment to data-driven decisions
