Salem Media Group is seeking a seasoned, mission-driven leader for the Director of Ministry & Media Partnerships role, responsible for developing national revenue-generating relationships with media ministries, churches, and faith-based organizations. This role combines senior-level business development with strategic ministry engagement, overseeing multi-platform media initiatives across various channels.
Responsibilities
• Lead national partnership sales strategies with ministries, churches, and faith-based organizations
• Develop and close large-scale, multi-market media campaign partnerships
• Serve as a senior advisor to ministry and organizational leadership
• Design integrated, mission-aligned media and outreach strategies
• Present executive-level proposals supported by audience insights, digital media campaigns and performance metrics
• Drive national revenue growth while stewarding long-term ministry relationships
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, research, and content teams
Skills
• 7+ years of progressive experience in national media sales, ministry partnerships, and/or strategic business development
• Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level or national accounts
• Strong digital knowledge: SEM, SEO, programmatic, OTT/CTV, social media, email marketing including welcome & cultivation series
• Proven ability to engage senior ministry leaders, executives, and decision-makers
• Strategic, consultative approach with strong leadership presence
