As a Patient Care Aide, you will enjoy: One-on-one patient care with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences Flexible scheduling and on-demand pay Comprehensive benefits, including educational advancement opportunities and a free degree program with partner schools Opportunities to work with a diverse patient population, including adults and seniors A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals Your responsibilities will include: Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting demographics, insurance, medical history, and test results in our electronic health record system (EPIC) Performing point-of-care testing for strep, flu, COVID-19, and other tests as required Assisting with patient registration, managing the waiting room, and setting expectations for wait times Providing clinical patient care within state guidelines and under the supervision of a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, including exam rooms and waiting areas To be successful in this role, you will need: Recent experience in healthcare or completion of a relevant program (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT, PCT, Pharmacy Technician, Nursing Student) Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently A Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or an approved provider Preferred qualifications include experience with electronic health records (e.g., EPIC) and a high school diploma or equivalent.
