The Role
We’re seeking experienced, multi-state licensed physicians (MD/DO) to join our national telemedicine team. This is primarily an asynchronous role focused on reviewing consults, approving prescriptions, and managing patient messages through our clinical platform.
You’ll collaborate with a dedicated clinical support team and communicate regularly through Slack to ensure patient needs are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Review asynchronous patient consults within assigned timeframes
Prescribe appropriate medications according to clinical protocols
Review and respond to patient follow-up messages within platform SLAs
Communicate effectively with the Wasef Health support and partner teams via Slack
Maintain charting accuracy and compliance across all consults
Demonstrate consistent responsiveness and reliability during assigned hours
Requirements
MD or DO degree and active, unrestricted medical licenses
Minimum of 25 active state licenses required (50-state licensure highly preferred)
Minimum 20 hours/week availability, ideally up to full-time (40 hours/week)
Experience or comfort with asynchronous telemedicine consults
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Responsive and collaborative in remote environments (Slack communication, timely chart completion, etc.)
Comfortable practicing under standardized clinical protocols
Preferred Qualifications
50-state licensure or near-complete coverage
Prior experience with high-volume asynchronous telemedicine
Strong organizational and time management skills
Prior experience with similar platforms

Per-consult pay structure, scaled based on consult volume and partner programs
