Mintel is a leading market intelligence company, and they are seeking a Research Analyst for their Comperemedia department. The role involves collecting and organizing data to support client project teams, analyzing marketing data, and contributing to reports and presentations for the financial services sector. Responsibilities - Pulling and Organizing Data: Pulling data from Mintel’s proprietary databases along with external tools and organizing it into digestible forms for clients - Analyzing Data: Reviewing and analyzing marketing data and campaign creatives to identify key tactical shifts, and new, unique marketing approaches. Identify noteworthy changes in the data, strategy and/or messaging and identify new and unique marketing campaigns - Report Writing: Pulling the data and findings into easy-to-follow PPT reports that meet specific client objectives - Conducting Desk Research: Conduct “desk research” on new product launches, changes and developments impacting various industries, companies, and products while utilizing company websites press releases, reliable industry resources and company presentations - Collaborating with Teammates: Working with your colleagues on a regular basis to achieve project milestones and delivering error-free data to the project teams Skills - At least one year of professional experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies (or equivalent academic experience) - Working knowledge of when and how to apply quantitative and qualitative research methodologies given a specific objective or challenge - Experience with analyzing data using Excel - Ability to dive deeply into data and check findings for accuracy - Ability to ensure that you've exhausted the resources available to answer specific project objectives - Experience weaving compelling narratives to meet objectives - Dedication to quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in work - Natural curiosity to know the 'why' behind things and great at digging into the data to pull out key points of interest - Positive attitude and self-starter, eager to learn and develop in and beyond this role - Ability to manage multiple projects and varying timelines to meet client deadlines - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to read your audience to effectively engage and adapt your communication style - Pride in the team you are a part of and the work you produce - Ability to cultivate professional relationships with colleagues - Constantly finding innovative and unique ways to create an exceptional work environment Benefits - Medical/dental/vision insurance - Flexible spending accounts - Health savings accounts - Employer paid life and disability insurance - 401(k) with employer match - Paid time off - Flexible working hours - ClassPass subsidy - Mental health benefit through Modern Health - Paid volunteer time off - Paid birthday leave - Paid parental leave Company Overview - Mintel is the world’s leading market intelligence agency, with offices in London, Chicago, Shanghai, Belfast, Kuala Lumpur, It was founded in 1972, and is headquartered in London, England, GBR, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
