Job Description:
We are looking for experienced SAP IS-U ABAP Technical Consultants with a strong background in the Utilities domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and supporting SAP IS-U solutions, with a good understanding of utility business processes such as billing, invoicing, device management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs in SAP IS-U environment
Work on enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEF objects)
Support IS-U modules such as Billing, Invoicing, FICA, Device Management, and CRM integration
Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution
Participate in system integration testing and support UAT activities
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in ABAP (Reports, ALV, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits)
Experience in SAP IS-U modules (Billing, FICA, Device Management, etc.)
Good understanding of Utilities business processes
Experience with interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services)
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with S/4HANA or IS-U on HANA
Knowledge of SAP CRM or integration with external systems
Prior experience working with global utilities clients
Soft Skills:
Good communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
