Job Description: • Veracity is a business and technology consultancy that specializes in optimizing companies’ business performance and navigating change. • Our experienced team of strategic thinkers, solution experts, and problem solvers work flexibly and collaboratively with our clients to understand their business objectives to drive results. • Currently, we are searching for a ServiceNow CMDB Senior Technical Consultant to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. • Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of the CMDB component within the ServiceNow re-platforming program. • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, infrastructure, and business units to understand configuration item (CI) requirements and dependencies. • Analyze the current CMDB and discovery architecture to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. • Design and implement CMDB data models, including classes, relationships, and CI lifecycles, aligning with ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM) best practices. • Oversee and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping configurations to ensure accurate CI population. • Develop migration strategies for existing CMDB data, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with target architecture. • Define and implement governance, reconciliation, and CI lifecycle management processes. • Partner with the platform team to support integration of third-party systems and data sources with the CMDB. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and internal teams. • Document all CMDB-related designs, configurations, and processes. Requirements: • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with a focus on CMDB and Discovery. • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery. • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. • CMDB Specific Micro Certs preferred. • Proven experience leading CMDB implementations or major re-platforming projects in large-scale enterprises. • Strong understanding of ITIL practices, especially Configuration Management. • Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM). • Deep familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers. • Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), data transformation, and integration patterns. • Strong data analysis and modeling skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Regular and predictable attendance Benefits:
