Sr. Power BI Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Seeking for an experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in semantic data modeling, advanced DAX programming, data visualization, and Power BI administration.
Responsibilities:
• Semantic Modeling & Data Architecture:
• Design and optimize Power BI semantic models using best-practice dimensional modeling techniques.
• Build enterprise-grade datasets with proper relationships and hierarchies.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data quality.
• Advanced DAX Programming:
• Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns to support business logic and KPIs.
• Optimize DAX for performance and maintainability.
• Visualization & Dashboard Development:
• Build intuitive Power BI dashboards that communicate insights effectively.
• Apply data visualization best practices and create interactive features.
• SQL Development (Oracle & SQL Server):
• Write efficient SQL queries and perform data profiling and validation.
• Collaborate with DBAs to optimize query performance.
• Power BI Administration & Governance:
• Manage Power BI Service components and support governance initiatives.
• Monitor performance and optimize dataset size and gateway performance.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide guidance to self-service BI users.
• Document data models, DAX logic, and SQL scripts.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (4 years).
• 5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong expertise in semantic modeling, advanced DAX programming, and Power Query.
• Solid SQL development experience in both Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with Power BI administration and understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) Semantic model.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Experience working with large, complex data sets in a multi-system environment.
