I’m the founder of an early-stage startup and I’m looking for an experienced startup advisor to meet with weekly and help guide strategy, sequencing, and decision-making as we move toward launch.
This is not a corporate consulting role. I’m looking for a practical operator who has helped build or scale startups, marketplaces, membership platforms, or fintech/benefits ecosystems.
This will start as a small ongoing engagement with weekly check-ins and occasional async questions and may expand as necessary
About the Startup
A membership platform designed to help people improve their lives financially, professionally, and personally.
The business model combines:
• Consumer memberships
• A vetted partner marketplace (discounted services + revenue share)
• Affiliate / white-label services inside a member portal
• A Shopify store (launching first, separate initially)
• Long-term vision includes a fintech account + debit card and mobile app
What I Need Help With

• Validate priorities and roadmap sequencing
• Pressure-test go-to-market strategy
• Help plan early member acquisition
• Review pricing and positioning decisions
• Provide guidance on partnerships and marketplace rollout
• Help avoid common early-stage mistakes
• Provide honest, practical feedback regularly
Engagement Structure
• Weekly call (30–60 minutes)
• Occasional async questions/messages between calls
• Flexible hours — long-term potential if we’re a good fit
Ideal Background
• Startup operator / founder / early employee
• Membership or subscription businesses
• Marketplaces or two-sided platforms
• Fintech or embedded finance
• Consumer growth / go-to-market strategy
• Partnerships or ecosystem businesses
