GEICO is a leading insurance company that provides quality coverage to millions of customers. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Subrogation Technician to prepare demand packages, communicate with carriers and policyholders, and monitor claims for recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and sending demand packages to the adverse carrier
- Communicating effectively with the adverse carrier and policyholders
- Monitoring the claim file for recovery
- Reimbursing expenses including deductibles
- Evaluating claims for further recovery efforts as necessary
Skills
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask (listen and type; speak and navigate multiple systems)
- Must be able to attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various states
- Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
- Must meet corporate attendance standards
