We're on a quest to make that real for every member we serve, and we're looking for an Account Manager who wants to be part of that work. Not just someone who manages a book of business, but someone who genuinely cares that the people on the other end of the phone understand their benefits, trust the process, and feel taken care of.

The work
You'll be the person our members and employer groups count on from day one. When a new group comes on board, you're the guide who is keeping the process moving, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, and making people feel like they're in good hands every step of the way.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
You'll be the primary point of contact for clients. The person they reach out to when they have questions, need guidance, or want to understand their options better.
You'll own new account setup from handoff to fully active by managing group enrollment, timelines, and every step in between.
You'll analyze and present benefit plan options, working closely with clients and members to help them understand what's available and what actually makes sense for their situation.
You'll ensure each member is enrolled correctly and understands their plan, with the patience to make benefit-speak actually make sense.
You'll manage renewals and plan changes, proactively, thoroughly, and with an eye toward compliance and a smooth experience for everyone involved.
When something isn't working — a process, a communication, a workflow — you'll say so. We value that. Speak up, bring a thought, make it better.
What you bring
We're looking for someone who has genuinely done this kind of work and has the instincts to show for it. Here's what that looks like to us:
Expertise that shows up You have a solid, demonstrated understanding of client or account management, project coordination across multiple stakeholders, and employee communication and education. Experience in benefits or healthcare is a plus.
Easy to work with (for real) You're the kind of person who makes things easier, not harder. You're warm without being vague, professional without being stiff, and you know how to build trust with a member over time, not just make a good first impression.
On a quest of your own You're genuinely curious. You ask good questions. You notice details others miss like when a member who seems confused, a timeline slipping, a process that could work better, and you do something about it. Patient with people. Persistent with problems.
Real value, every interaction You can hold a lot moving at once and still respond to someone like it's the only thing on your plate. You follow through. You close loops. When you say you'll handle something, it gets handled.

This is a fully remote role. We've built our systems and our culture to support people who do their best work from wherever they work best.
What we offer:
Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000
20 days PTO annually
