We believe in empowering our employees to grow and develop their skills, and we offer a range of opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Maintaining database accuracy by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and efficient manner * Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information * Establishing entry priorities to ensure efficient data entry * Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies * Resolving deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format * Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures * Verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data * Combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete * Purging files to eliminate duplication of data * Testing customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data * Securing information by completing data base backups * Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes * Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential * Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed **Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * Organization skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects * Quick typing skills to efficiently enter data * Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision * Confidentiality to protect sensitive information * Thoroughness to review and verify data for errors * High school diploma or equivalent * Data entry experience or related office experience * Some basic computer courses may be preferred by some employers **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home or office. arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that is collaborative, inclusive, and supportive.
