Excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced environment. The Role The Brand & Communications Lead will own and elevate how our sustainability mission is expressed to the world. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role acts as the creative and strategic force behind how we communicate our regenerative agriculture and sustainability innovations – both in our core agriculture business and our sustainability business unit focused on scope 3 and high-integrity carbon markets. This isn’t a “press release and blog post” job. If you’ve ever wanted to shape the brand strategy of a climate company poised to change an industry — this is it. You’ll be expected to: • Lead Holganix’s brand expression for its sustainability business that reflects Holganix’s leadership and mission • Lead media relations, thought leadership, and PR, building relationships with journalists, partners, and influencers across the climate, agtech, and sustainability sectors • Translate complex scientific and technical outcomes into compelling, accessible stories for multiple audiences — from investors to farmers to corporate sustainability leaders • Collaborate with our executive team to amplify executive voices and subject matter experts through keynotes, op-eds, and spotlight opportunities • Own/lead/guide creative direction for the sustainability business, leading content visioning and execution for campaigns, social storytelling, design themes, and messaging frameworks. • Support go-to-market teams (Insetting and Carbon BD) with narrative materials, pitch decks, and market positioning • Build a content roadmap for the sustainability business that blends high-profile earned media, social storytelling, and partnership amplification Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute Holganix’s brand strategy and communications plan for Holganix’s sustainability business unit • Manage PR efforts and media relationships, including press releases, pitches, and interviews for both Holganix’s sustainability and agriculture business units. • Own the thought leadership strategy: op-eds, bylines, LinkedIn content, speaking engagements • Work cross-functionally with the Holganix sustainability unit’s BD, Carbon Programs, and Product to ensure all public-facing materials reflect our mission and competitive differentiation • Lead the development of case studies, impact reports, and storytelling assets to support sales and partnership teams • Monitor market trends and ensure Holganix stays ahead of the narrative curve in regenerative ag and carbon Ideal Profile • 5+ years in brand, communications, or public relations — ideally in climate, agriculture, sustainability, or mission-driven sectors • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with a proven track record of simplifying complex topics into compelling narratives • Strong media relations experience, with an established network (bonus if in climate or agtech press) • Experience collaborating with executive leadership and supporting high-level thought leadership • Entrepreneurial mindset — you can build from scratch and thrive in fast-moving environments Requirements Job Requirements • Experience with CRM and content platforms (We use HubSpot, but there is plenty of related software out there), design tools (We use Canva primarily, but there is plenty of related software out there), and project management software (we use Monday.com). • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field • Willingness to travel for events and team collaboration Summary Why This Role?
