**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team in Vermont, USA. As a Full Stack Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, develop data-driven insights, and implement data-driven solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Utilize logical techniques and information disclosure tools to discover new patterns, trends, and connections in large datasets
* Extract relevant information from multiple large databases and create visualizations that rapidly and effectively communicate results
* Serve as an expert authority in data architecture and capacity, collaborating closely with IT teams to ensure data quality and integrity
* Work intimately with business stakeholders to understand key challenges and develop data-driven solutions to address them
* Lead complex analyses involving multiple data sources to tackle complicated business issues
* Design and implement reporting dashboards using established data warehouse designs that track and visually communicate key business metrics and provide actionable insights
* Write and interpret complex queries to address business challenges; develop and evaluate algorithms based on guidelines to provide analysis and insights into patterns used for forecasting; standardize and automate existing reporting and analysis tools, and new project metrics to exceed FedEx Quality standards through the use of Value Drive Management (QDM) principles and tools
* Identify internal and external data sources, build effective working relationships with knowledgeable authorities within arenaflex and the external marketplace
* Assist in data transfer and preparation of business intelligence to the arenaflex team as an informed expert; strongly influence the team by creating, standardizing, and maintaining an information-driven analysis culture
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Information Science or a related field with a focus on AI, Predictive Analysis, Advanced Analysis, Stream Handling, Representations required. Master's degree preferred
* Experience in tackling analysis problems through the use of data science techniques in academic or work environment models required
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Proficiency with MS office applications
* Master's level with SQL (Structured Query Language)
* Experience with Teradata and Prophet social data set platforms is desired
* Experience with data visualization, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts, query execution tuning, and testing is a plus
* Experience with large datasets, MapReduce engineering systems like Pig and Hadoop, statistical programming languages like R, and scripting languages like Python and Ruby is a plus
* Experience with visualization tools, such as Tableau or Spotfire, is a plus
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, and related documents
* Ability to effectively present data to management, end-users, colleagues, or sales teams
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts like probability
* Ability to apply concepts like rates, proportions, percentages, and positioning to make reasonable assumptions
* Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and make sound decisions
* Requires strong scientific and critical thinking skills
* Ability to perform complex tasks with limited supervision
