**About the Role**
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support services to our global organization. You'll work closely with our team to define and own strategies that create exceptional customer experiences, leveraging your expertise in IT operations management to drive process improvement, automation, and documentation. Your goal will be to set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization, guiding your team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support services to our global organization
* Assist the global organization in defining and owning strategies that create exceptional customer experiences
* Develop and leverage knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and innovation
* Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
