**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our arenaflex team. As a key member of our Partner Expert IT Crewmember Innovation Administrations (CTS) team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our crewmembers, resolving technical issues, and driving innovation in our technology infrastructure. This is a part-time remote job, offering a competitive hourly rate of $30/hour.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide top-notch support to arenaflex crewmembers, addressing technical issues and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
* Collaborate with our IT disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
* Develop and maintain documentation of technical issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our support processes and systems.
* Participate in the development and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
* Collaborate with our data innovation team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to crewmember inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Work closely with our IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Secondary School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
* Experience supporting the latest operating systems, or successful completion of the IT for Everybody certificate through Coursera
* Experience in carrying out and supporting applications
* Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%)
* Possession of valid travel documents, with the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US
* Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US
* Experience using desktop application bundles
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Certifications (Microsoft, Networking, programming languages)
* Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products
* Knowledge of Trade and Office Suite
* Knowledge of LAN environment using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
* Knowledge of communication, messaging, and network (VOIP and POTS)
* Knowledge of mobile devices
* Knowledge of MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune
* Knowledge of General media solutions
**Crewmember Assumptions:**
* Regular attendance and reliability
* Possible need to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice
* Ability to maintain a professional appearance
* While working or traveling on arenaflex flights, and if time allows, all fit crewmembers are expected to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
* Should be a proper cultural fit for the arenaflex culture, or at least, display the arenaflex values of Well-being, Mindfulness, Honesty, Energy, and Fun
* Advance arenaflex's #1 value of safety as a Well-being Representative, supporting arenaflex's Well-being Management System (SMS) components, Well-being Strategy, and social principles
* Identify well-being or safety concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them as soon as possible and without hesitation, including arenaflex's confidential reporting frameworks (Avionics Well-being Activity Program (pronto), JEMS or Security Activity Report (SAR))
