**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team in Garden City, NY or in a remote capacity. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, answering their questions, and helping them navigate their insurance policies. **Responsibilities**
As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring quality customer service on Homeowner and Auto policies, as well as other specialized lines of insurance
* Taking calls, answering client questions, and providing solutions to their insurance-related needs
* Cross-selling home and auto business, shopping renewals, ID cards, proof of insurance, and other related services
* Managing a book of approximately 60 customers, providing personalized service and support to each client
* Collaborating with our team to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in an independent agency
* Property and Casualty (P&C) licensed in NY
* Ability to commute to Garden City, NY or reliably work in a remote capacity
* Experience with EZLynx preferred but not required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
