Role overview
Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional
Head of Engineering - Performance to join our global business.Reporting directly to the
Chief Technology Officer and working with the Head of Product, you will oversee the quality of service delivery, processes and lead the Performance engineering teams at Fresha.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a

London office address: The Bower, The Tower, 207 Old St, London EC1V 9NR Engineering strategy Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performanceEnsure that engineering strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets; enabling the company to function and compete effectively in the marketEnsure strong communication between squads to facilitate the exchange of information, to deliver consistent user experiences across the marketplace, and to implement change & improvements.Input and hold responsibility for engineering budgets Team Management Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate teamsSet achievable goals for the team that are ambitious, without compromising tech standards and goalsEnsure teams are clear on what is expected from themMentor & coach Tech Leads to be exceptional squad leads, ensuring they motivate their direct reports tooEnsure the balance of product and tech requirements seamlesslyTrack performance regularly (through team meetings and individual catch-ups) Priorities and decision making Delegate confidently, effectively and intelligentlyIn collaboration with the CTO, set the standards and priorities for the engineering departmentEnsure processes are reviewed and changed as the company and team continue to scaleMake decisions effectively as and when requiredThis list is not exhaustive and there may be other activities you are required to deliver.
