This is a full-time position (40 housr/week, Monday-Friday).
We are seeking an experienced logistics manager to assist with the input, processing and invoicing of purchase orders, as well as to track LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) freight orders. This is a long-term and ongoing position for a rapidly growing healthy snack brand, realsy (eatrealsy.com), in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will be very quick to respond, have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, experience with U.S. geography and a proven background in logistics management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely order fulfillment and freight monitoring. Key Responsibilities
1. High-Velocity Wholesale Management
● Rapid Order Processing: Manage and execute a high volume of wholesale orders daily via EDI (Crstl), email, and wholesale portals (e.g. Faire, Airgoods, Starch, direct realsy portal). Review shopify daily to ensure all orders are being shipped out accordingly.
● Buyer Communication: Act as the dedicated point of contact for retail buyers. You must respond to inquiries regarding order status, stock availability, and shipping timelines with industry-leading speed.
● The "Problem Solver": When a shipment is delayed or a pallet arrives damaged, you take immediate ownership—proactively communicating with the buyer and the warehouse to resolve the issue before it impacts shelf availability.
● Invoicing in EDI
● Entering emailed PO’s and sample orders into Shopify
● Updating PO’s: When supplies come in or are shipped out, log information accordingly in Cin7. Updating PO freight costs Cin7 as an additional expense once product ships.
2. Fast-Paced Logistics & Execution
● Tight Turnarounds: Coordinate with the 3PL to ensure orders are processed within strict "same-day" or "24-hour" windows. Coordinating logistics of all shipments to retailers and updating shipping dates and details in Cin7 orders.
● Freight Command: Book and track LTL/FTL shipments in a volatile freight market, ensuring we secure the fastest and most cost-effective lanes.
● Compliance Expert: Master the complex "Routing Guides" of major retailers to ensure 100% compliance with labeling and palletization, preventing costly chargebacks.
● Coordinating Freight within Mexico: Monitoring whatsapp groups to know when to book LTL freight with our Mexican freight broker. Staying on top of freight broker to receive shipment documents and sending all necessary documents to suppliers.
● Costco-specific order management: Record transfers of Chep pallets in the Chep Pallet System
