Position Overview We are actively building a pipeline of top‑tier talent for future leadership roles within our United States oncology sales force. As an Oncology Customer Team Leader at arenaflex, you will lead and inspire a high‑performing team of Oncology Sales Representatives and Specialists within a defined geographic district. Your primary focus will be to cultivate strong relationships with key oncology stakeholders, drive adoption of our cutting‑edge treatments, and accelerate revenue growth through strategic planning and execution. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership & People Development – Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor a district‑based oncology sales team; conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and competency assessments. - Strategic Business Planning – Design and implement district business plans aligned with national sales strategies; forecast revenue, set targets, and monitor progress against budget. - Customer Engagement – Partner with oncologists, hospital administrators, and managed‑care decision‑makers to uncover unmet needs, educate on product value, and support evidence‑based treatment adoption. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with other Customer Team Leaders, Commercial Operations Directors, Account Managers, and alliance partners to ensure seamless execution of joint initiatives. - Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership – Gather competitive insights, share best practices across the organization, and act as a regional champion for oncologic therapeutic advances. - Operational Excellence – Oversee territory coverage, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, and manage disciplinary actions in partnership with Human Resources. - Travel & Field Presence – Travel regularly to visit direct reports, attend key customer meetings, and represent arenaflex at national sales conferences and industry events. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience, or a high‑school diploma with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. - At least 4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader healthcare industry (sales, marketing, scientific, or related roles). - Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships within complex customer organizations. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (regional and national travel required). - Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Experience & Skills - MBA, MS, or other advanced degree. - Proven first‑line management experience leading a field‑based oncology sales team. - Minimum of three years of direct engagement with key oncology thought leaders, large group practices, hospital systems, or managed‑care organizations. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. - Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities, tailored to both clinical and business audiences.
