General Purpose: The Product Manager, Firewall leads the development, scaling, and enhancement of TPx's next-generation managed cybersecurity services. Responsible for key Managed Firewall offering across multiple vendors and platforms, and future development of complimentary cybersecurity solutions, this position drives service evolution and cross-functional collaboration to integrate value-added solutions into TPx's portfolio for revenue growth and a competitive edge.   Direct Reports: No   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develops scalable, profitable, and easy-to-sell Managed Firewall offering. - Identifies and evaluates additional adjacent cybersecurity offerings and works towards a broader portfolio strategy. - Defines product and service strategies to maximize revenue and margin. - Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and customer needs. - Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Agents to shape product direction and roadmap. - Builds strong relationships with customers and internal teams to inform strategy. - Leads full product lifecycle rooted in targeted ideal customer profile: business cases, technical specs, project management, feature prioritization, and roadmap execution. - Sets pricing models aligned with market expectations and profitability. - Translates business needs into technical requirements and oversees solution development. - Defines go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging. - Identifies opportunities to leverage AI tools to accelerate timelines and efficiency. - Creates sales enablement tools, including competitive analysis and battle cards. - Trains sales teams and supports product launches with cross-functional coordination. - Ensures a positive customer experience from pre-sales to billing. - Analyzes performance data to guide ongoing product improvement and planning. - Leads cross-functional teams in delivering products aligned with business goals. - Manages vendor relationships to enhance partnerships and market presence. Other Responsibilities: - Supports sales in competitive deals and strategic opportunities. - Provides pricing guidance for special deal requests. - Collaborates with internal teams on large or complex opportunities. - Contributes to the development and management of all TPx services. - Participates in industry forums and user groups. - Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education and Experience - Bachelor of science degree or another technical discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Advanced degree or MBA preferred. - Deep technical understanding of Fortinet Firewalls and Fortinet ecosystem (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) required. - Broad knowledge of the firewall competitive landscape and how firewalls compete and compliment adjacent technologies such as SSE, SASE, SD-WAN, etc. - Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting firewall technology. - Strong experience positioning and delivering service capabilities within varying customer environments. Other Qualifications: - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Self-motivated and driven, with a strong sense of urgency and experience leading cross-functional collaboration. - Technology awareness and fluency in cybersecurity, data protection, cloud and network security services, internet connectivity, identity access, zero trust and related areas. - Strong grasp of end-to-end IT and cybersecurity processes--from architecture and design to implementation and operations. - Proven track record of successfully launching new products. - Collaborative and respectful communicator, skilled at building strong working relationships across teams. - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. - Able to balance strategic thinking with practical execution. - Detail-oriented with a proactive and adaptable mindset. - Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical, financial and business planning skills. - Effective at working with geographically distributed teams. - Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-changing environments. - Strong interpersonal awareness and adaptability across diverse teams. - Skilled in problem-solving and project management.
