The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing customer credit positions, managing past due accounts, and ensuring accuracy in billing while focusing on customer aging and credit limit reviews.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and establishes customer accounts to be set-up in our ERP to assure accurate billing
- Assists with managing, generating, and monitoring customer data and ensures accurate customer billing
- Responsible for enforcement of credit policies, conducting periodic reviews of existing customers’ credit and evaluating the creditworthiness for prospective customers
- Oversees the order release for customers entering a Hold Validation status
- Evaluates TireHub’s risk before releasing orders to customers
- Engages with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving TireHub’s objectives
- Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned
- Complies with all TireHub policies and procedures
- Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience
- 1+ Years of experience in a Master Data or similar functions
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely
- Understanding of best practices in credit, billing, and collections
- Ability to multi-task and achieve customer impacting deadlines in credit, billing, and collections
- Ability to interact with customers, and cross functional teams to solve problems and provide guidance
- 2+ Years of experience in a Credit Analyst role
- Experience with Epicor systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in an industrial and/or warehousing environment
