About the Role
Playmaker Sports hosts youth soccer tournaments and is looking for a reliable assistant to help manage several operational tasks related to tournament preparation.
This role is ideal for someone familiar with youth soccer tournaments, such as a soccer parent, coach, referee, or sports administrator.
The position supports three tournaments per year and includes scheduling, communication with teams, posting tournament promotions, and coordinating small administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
• Create tournament schedules and enter them into GotSport
• Post tournament announcements in youth soccer Facebook groups
• Submit tournament insurance applications
• Coordinate trophy orders with the vendor
• Respond to basic tournament-related emails from teams
• Assist with general tournament preparation
Work Schedule
Work is spread out during the weeks leading up to each tournament.
Scheduling typically occurs 1–2 weeks before the event and may take 2–3 days as teams finalize their registrations.
Playmaker Sports hosts approximately three tournaments per year.
Requirements
• Organized and reliable
• Comfortable communicating by email
• Familiar with youth soccer tournaments or sports events
• Experience with GotSport or similar systems is helpful but not required
Compensation
$800-$1200 per tournament depending on experience.
