As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding customer expectations. **Key Responsibilities** As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Completing resets and revisions as directed * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers **Training & Personal Development** As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will have the opportunity to: * Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate * Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations * Enhance your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment * Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management **Essential Qualifications** To be successful as a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will need: * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time **Preferred Qualifications** We prefer candidates with: * Six months of experience in a retail environment * Prior work experience with arenaflex * Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills and Competencies** To succeed as a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will need: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations * Enhance your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment * Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management * Pursue career advancement opportunities within arenaflex * Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
