**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Registers customer purchases on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disburses change as needed; processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as necessary
* Maintains a clean and organized store environment by keeping counters and retail areas clean and well-stocked, taking stock, and keeping records
* Performs tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring data is accurate, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication, confirming medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions
* Reports, immediately, prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to arenaflex's policies and procedures regarding prescription errors and the Quality Improvement Program
* Handles calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors
* Processes (revises and resubmits) manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other administrative tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director
* Assists and supports the Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medication; maintains knowledge of arenaflex's resource security methods and records claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medication
* Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
* Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays, and finishes resets and corrections as assigned
* Assists with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom retail areas)
* Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
* Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sells special photo items
* Takes on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (picks items), and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
* Assists with external and internal maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance
* Adheres to all arenaflex policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues
* Completes special tasks and other assignments as assigned
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Must be conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Willingness to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
* Previous work experience with arenaflex
* Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Proficiency in computer skills
* Knowledge of store stock control
* PTCB certification
